Rizaldy Villegas
Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Villegas, MD, is an interventional cardiology specialist with more than 23 years’ experience in the medical field. Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, he works with Central Arizona Heart Specialists and serves as director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
He practices throughout Arizona and has hospital privileges at Banner Casa Grande Regional Hospital, Chandler Regional Medical Center, Banner Desert Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Hospitals. He also serves in the East Valley and Casa Grande communities on hospital committees focused on continuous improvements in patient care and outcomes.
Dr. Villegas earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis, and earned his MD from George Washington University Medical School in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan before completing fellowship programs in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Villegas also has attained Fellowship status with both the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
